I said previously that this blog is not only to detail my life as a Loli, but also to help all of you Loli's to understand Lolita-ness outside of the awesome world of Japan. One store I'd look for if you live in Europe or mainly the USA, is Fan plus Friend. They have amazing wear at *usually* reasonable prices and are the way forward for new and not-so-new Lolita's as their styles usually match and leave you with a great new style *and* some more money to buy those totally kawaii Mary-Jane's with.
A site that I might say to avoid is BodyLine - they may look good but they usually have bad quality. If you want to save your money or want to make your parents let you buy Loli, then this site is good, yes but be warned that you may not get blissful years of wear like some other brands.
If you want something but you've looked and looked and don't see it anywhere, then go to http://www.sweetrococo.com - you design your own styles or select one from their wardrobe! It's so simple and they have an amazing range that you will love for sure! However, the cost of their versatility does get rather high...
Now this is something that is argued about - cosplay. It is said that if you get anything with costume in it, then that is what it will look like - a costume. But rather happily, some firms don't use sheer fabric and over-the-top lace. And you will usually find shoes in the cosplay line that you don't see anywhere else - they are worth at least looking at!
