Lolita Clothing 101

Let's face it. As a new lolita, you may be stumped for ideas. If you need some help, this is my post to help you! It is all split into neat little bundles - it says the sub-style then the outfit pieces...

- KuroLoli
   - Undergarments: For every Loli, the garment list usually stays the same. You would generally need a petticoat, bloomers, your normal underwear and socks or stockings. Sometimes you will use a corset. For a KuroLoli, stay with dark black.
   - Blouse: Have a neat black blouse that has billowy arms and perhaps even a big flower-cuff like this one.
   - Dress or Skirt: Your dress must be kuro and suitable. The shape is down to the petticoat so ensure you buy one of those first. May I suggest this dress and this skirt?

- Sweet Lolita
   - Undergarments: For Sweet Lolita, you are very innocent and even your unmentionables need to show this! If I were dressing Sweet Lolita, then I would definately have a set of white or black bloomers, my usual undies and obviously a large petticoat or two! I would also have knee-high socks handy.
   - Blouse: This isn't always essential but it always make you more modest. From Fanplusfriend, I really like this one.
   - Dress or skirt: Every Sweet lolita knows that she must be kawaii! To do this, you must simply have a pink, purple, blue or violet dress on hand! I would say this dress is a staple and this dress is very kawaii.
   - Shoes: Go for pink Mary-Janes!

- EGA
   - Undergarments: You should really go full on this one. Get a corset, bloomers, tights and maybe a petticoat.
   - Blouse: Get a sheer black one.
   - Dress: Try a very long one that makes you look mature like this one, this one or for Visual Kei/Rococo, this one.

- Shirololi
   - Everything same as Kurololi but in white.
